While the Sport and Wellness Centre reopened in July for limited fitness purposes, group fitness classes and drop-in sports are being reintroduced starting Monday.
Fitness classes will resume limited numbers of participants on a first-come, first-served basis at the Brealey Drive facility, the city announced Thursday.
Aqua fitness classes in the leisure pool will have 20 participants, while aquafitness in the therapy pool will have eight.
Land fitness classes will be able to have 15 people at once.
Badminton, tennis, pickleball and volleyball will also be reintroduced as drop-in sports, states the release, with no more than 16 participants at once. This is also on a first-come, first-served basis.
Public swimming will also be available on an updated schedule.
Masks will be required in the building unless participants are exercising or they are in the aquatic area, states the release.
